Evaluate the Creation of a Rent Registry
Project Description
As part of the FY 2025 Strategic Roadmap, the Housing Division will evaluate the creation of a rent registry for the City of Hayward. Hayward has roughly 25,000 units rented out to tenants, and the registry would better allow staff to collect data on rent increases, evictions, and occupancy.
Q4-FY24 Status Update (Updated Fiscal Year Quarterly):
This project is scheduled to start in March 2025.
