FY 2024 Status Update (Updated Fiscal Year Annual):
Collaborating with private developers and community groups, the Landscape Maintenance Division continues to meet, and oftentimes exceed, the street tree planting goal. Street trees are vital for improving air quality, providing shade and cooling to curb the the urban heat effect, citywide beautification, and fostering community interactions through engagement and education.
The Division is actively pursuing grants to support tree planting efforts.
