Project Description
The Environmental Justice Element of the General Plan was adopted by Council on January 30, 2024. The Element includes 31 programs to protect residents from harmful air pollution; increase access to public facilities; improve access to healthy food; support safe and sanitary homes; improve health and increase physical activity, and increase civic engagement. Q4-FY24 Status Update (Updated Fiscal Year Quarterly):
There are 11 actions scheduled to begin in 2023 or 2024. Staff will provided a status update on each action as part of the annual General Plan implementation report in early 2025.
