Q4-FY24 Status Update (Updated Fiscal Year Quarterly):
The second stretch of median, from Watkins St to Soto Rd and Santa Clara St to Diadon Dr, was completed in FY24. Staff expects to fully complete this project by the end of FY25. Project scope includes completely removing diseased or broken infrastructure (trees, plants, and irrigation) and installing new trees, shrubs, dirt/soil, and pavers.
Throughout FY24, staff finalized the bid specifications and designs for the soon-to-be new Monument Sign at the corner of Jackson St and Silva Ave. In late Spring 2024, staff released a Request for Quote (RFQ). In Summer 2025, staff received a proposal(s) and are current finalizing next steps.
