The City of Hayward is hosting a Workforce Development Job Fair on September 19, 2024 as part of our Learn to Earn Tuition Assistance Program. This job fair is designed to connect Hayward residents with local employers, providing valuable opportunities for job seekers to explore various career paths and for businesses to find qualified candidates to fill their vacancies.
The job fairs will feature a diverse range of employers from different industries, including advanced manufacturing, biotechnology, and other technical fields. FY 2024 Status Update (Updated Fiscal Year Annual):
We are pleased to announce the upcoming Workforce Development Job Fair, a key component of our Learn to Earn Tuition Assistance Program. The job fair will be hosted at City Hall, located at 777 B St, on September 19, 2024, from 3 PM to 6 PM. This event is projected to attract between 300 to 500 attendees, including job seekers and local employers.
The job fair will feature a diverse array of employers from various industries, offering job seekers a unique chance to connect with potential employers and explore career opportunities. With a focus on advanced manufacturing, biotechnology, and other technical fields, attendees will benefit from networking opportunities, job opening insights, and resources for resume building and interview preparation.
