FY 2024 Status Update (Updated Fiscal Year Annual):

The City of Hayward Economic Development Team provides direct financial and technical support through a robust suite of programs, including grants, business engagement, marketing and business attraction, concierge meetings and development assistance, site selection services, and ombudsman support. These initiatives are tailored to meet the specific needs of individual businesses, aiming to enhance their operations and facilitate growth within Hayward.

In FY 2023, our efforts have resulted in supporting over 75 businesses, helping them navigate regulatory processes, access financial incentives, and optimize their presence in our community. By fostering a supportive environment and offering personalized guidance, we aim to strengthen the economic fabric of Hayward while promoting sustainable business development.
